  • Filipino customs, traditions, and values
  • Basic concepts of Filipino society (ethnic groups, languages, religions)
  • National symbols and landmarks

The grade 1 third periodical test for Grade 1 is designed to assess the students’ understanding and application of different aspects of Araling Panlipunan, such as self and family, community and environment, and Philippine culture and society. The questions in the test are typically multiple-choice, matching type, and short-answer types. The test is administered by the classroom teacher and is usually based on the Araling Panlipunan curriculum and learning competencies set by the Department of Education.
