Free Download of DepEd Matatag Textbooks for Teachers
As a public school teacher under the Department of Education (DepEd), I understand how essential it is to have updated and curriculum-aligned learning resources. That’s why I’m thrilled to share with you the DepEd Matatag Textbooks, which are now available for free download. These textbooks are part of the new curriculum reform under the MATATAG Agenda, designed to enhance the quality of basic education in the Philippines.
What Are DepEd Matatag Textbooks?
DepEd Matatag Textbooks are the latest learning materials aligned with the revised K to 10 curriculum, officially branded as the Matatag Curriculum. These textbooks are carefully designed to reflect the four core reform pillars of the MATATAG Agenda:
MAking the curriculum relevant to produce competent graduates
TAking steps to accelerate delivery of education services
TAking care of teachers and learners
Giving support to schools and learning centers
These learning materials are now learner-centered, decongested, age-appropriate, and competency-based. They ensure that Filipino learners can master essential skills and values at every grade level.
