DepEd has terminated GMail services

After 10 years, 11 months, 9 days of FREE services provided by Google, the Department of Education has already removed its email services from GMail.

It was October 22, 2012, when former DepEd Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro sent the first email to all DepEd employees through GMail. It solved not just the communications problem of the most complex government agency but also provided FREE tools for teachers for their teaching and learning processes.

Today, moving forward, DepEd users will no longer be able to receive emails in GMail.

What will happen to our files?

Same questions were ask by deped teachers. Let’s just wait for the announcement of Deped about our files and Deped gmail. We can also start transferring our files for back up and store it in external harddrive for safety.
